Head of Government Relations Department
1. Agenda setting and strategy development for Public Policy related issues. 2. To ensure the quality of function performance (quality gatekeeping). 3. To interact with other departments of MCC RU and the METRO AG Corporate Public Policy team. 4. To maintain working and high-level contacts with external and internal stakeholders. 5. To coordinate the interaction with authorities related to projects and events. 6. To coordinate the interaction with authorities in operational matters (inter alia, alcohol licensing and declaration, other licensing, control and supervisory activities of state bodies, goods labelling and other issues.). 7. To coordinate special projects in liaison with authorities and/or participate in such projects. 8. To manage the company's memberships in NGOs and public-private bodies. 9. Prepare presentations, briefings, letters and other documents necessary. 10. Deliver public speeches, engage in discussions and / or negotiations with stakeholders at working or high level 11. To carry out other tasks at the assignments of MCC RU CEO or Head of METRO AG RepOffice. 12. Planning & budgeting. 13. Managing the GR department personnel (currently 2 FTEs).
We expect the candidate to bring a GR work experience of at least 8 to 10 years, best in international companies operating in Russia (good command of English is a must). An academic background in law, politics, international studies or other relevant disciplines is a preference. We would very much appreciate: profound understanding of the structure and decision-making processes in federal and regional state bodies, ability to recognize business-relevant political and regulatory topics, chances and risks, a well-structured way of thinking, analytical capabilities, high service and quality standards proactive approach to handling GR related issues, confident appearance, ability to clear and concise communication, all oral and written, public and private, good skills in negotiations, personal communication, building up and maintaining contacts and networks, motivation to self-development, gaining new experience, embrace new topics, ability to plan and or
